Qualitative Assessment™

The Qualitative Assessment™ tool collects multi-rater feedback using both individual interviews and an online instrument called The Leadership Circle™ Profile (TLCP). This multi-modal approach provides a robust set of data to gain insight into a leader’s effectiveness and identify significant development opportunities.

The individual interviews are a series of one-on-one interviews with a group of twelve to fifteen individuals who know the leader well. This group typically includes the person the leader reports to, the leader’s peers and the leader’s direct reports. Each interview is conducted over the phone by a Maxcomm coach and lasts approximately twenty minutes. At the conclusion of these interviews, the coach will assess the interview data and create an individual feedback summary report to review with the leader.

Engaging others in your feedback

The importance of engaging your direct reports and others in your personal coaching process cannot be overstated. It has repeatedly been shown that those leaders who try to limit and control the feedback process are less likely to benefit from coaching and development opportunities.
