Bob Anderson is the founder and CEO of The Leadership Circle, LLC.  Bob is the creator and author of The Leadership Circle Profile, an integrated and innovative leadership development tool used by companies worldwide.  The Leadership Circle Profile is a genuine breakthrough in the field of leadership development and  Bob’s leading-edge research has put him at the forefront of the leadership development conversation worldwide.

Bob’s dedication to visionary and innovative leadership was cultivated early in his life.  He ran intensive personal development retreats in high school and college before receiving his bachelor's degree in economics and business administration from John Carroll University. He completed a Master’s degree in organizational development while working as a manager in a manufacturing business. He then took a position as the Director of Organizational Development for St Charles Hospital in his home town of Toledo, Ohio.

Bob founded The Leadership Circle (formerly SoulWorks) in 1986.  Initially his work focused on conducting intensive leadership development retreats and workshops. The programs he developed include The Authentic Leader, Mastering Leadership, and Pathway to Partnership. The Leadership Circle Profile and associated assessment tools are used by thousands of organizations around the world. His personal success derives from his gift as an extraordinary teacher, taking complex ideas and integrating them into models and methods for leadership development that offer powerful, tangible and accessible results for his clients. Bob’s practical wisdom, humility, creativity, humour and expertise combine to offer a rare and transformative experience for his clients.

As a consultant, Bob has personally worked with some of the leading companies in the United States.  His clients include:  Ashland Chemical Company, AT&T, Banc One Corporation, Dana Corporation, Dexter Corporation, First Energy Corporation, Good Samaritan Health Center, Hackley Hospital, Hartford Graduate Center, Hartford Steam Boiler, Health Care Forum, Hoosier Magnetics Corporation, Hospice, IBM, Kraft Foods, McDonalds Corporation, Navistar International, Steelcase, Notre Dame University, Riverside Methodist Hospital, St. Vincent Hospital, St. Mary’s Hospital and the United Way. His contribution to the field of Leadership and Organizational Development has been inspired and strengthened by his work with some of the most recognized and respected people in the field, including renowned management authors Peter Block (The Answer to How, is Yes), Peter Senge (The Fifth Discipline) and Robert Fritz (The Path of Least Resistance).  His work has been recognized by The University of Notre Dame’s Partner in Innovation Award and is required study in the New York University’s “Leadership Confronted and Encountered” syllabus.  He is an extended Faculty member at The University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana.  Bob is an ongoing faculty member of the Health Care Forum’s Executive Fellows Program.

While undertaking his pioneering work in the field of management, Bob been happily married for twenty-five years and is the father of three.  In addition to all this, Bob has also found the time to become an instrument-rated pilot.
