With expertise in leadership development, adult stage development, high performance team building, evolutionary organizational change and innovative experiential simulation, Steve’s client relationships are often deep and enduring. He has been instrumental in helping executive teams make profound and sustainable shifts in both their relationships and performance. Steve is a long-term trusted advisor to a number of senior executives and their organizations.

As a partner and co-owner of Maxcomm, Steve has served as a guide to executive leader in a variety of industries including: McDonald’s Corporation, Carlson Companies, Michigan Consolidated Gas Company (MichCon), Kaiser Permanente, StarTek, Oakwood Healthcare System, Intermedia Communications, Ameritech Information Services, GOJO Industries, American Express, Abbott Labs, Trustmark Insurance, DTE Energy and Capital H. Group.

Prior to his consulting career, Steve was a psychotherapist in private practice and a commercial white water guide. An avid river runner, skier and cyclist, he often uses the outdoor environment as a training lab for coaching and development.

Steve has a bachelor’s degree in biology and a master’s degree in social work from the University of Utah. Steve and his family make their home in the mountains of Colorado.
